Welcome to the official website for Messiah Baptist Church of Grand Rapids! We're always excited to welcome those engaged in the WORSHIP of GOD, and those seeking FELLOWSHIP with other believers while promoting DISCIPLESHIP through the Word of God. We are a Bible teaching and preaching church whose focus is to exalt God, build disciples and encourage the hearts of believers. As we seek to fulfill this mission the ministries of Messiah are designed to support local and global kingdom building, strengthen families, and meet the ever-growing needs of Christians in today’s culture.
Our desire is for you to know the love of God through the various aspects of service provided at Messiah, and we always anticipate a wonderful time regardless of the type of gathering. We hope you'll join in with us!
Upon arrival on Sundays, you'll be warmly greeted by our hospitality team wearing red jackets. They're stationed at the doors and Welcome Desk, and they'll show you where everything is. We're equipped with a nursery for children and an area designed for children's church, and we're in the development stages of a specialized section in our lower-level for millennial gathering! Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
Other opportunities of Worship, fellowship, and discipleship include Sunday School, specialized bible studies, discipleship/ministry training, and other ministry gatherings throughout the week. If you'd like more information about the services of Messiah, please contact us and we'll be happy to serve you.

The Golf Outing was a COMPLETE SUCCESS!!!
Thank God, we had a beautiful day for our 1st Annual Rev. Dr. Clifton Rhodes, Jr. Memorial Golf Classic. Sunny skies, eagles, and birdies - what a way to celebrate! For pictures, see the gallery.
